Dear <Last Name> Family,
Welcome to our NEW SafariTimes which are now a monthly feature on our website! We aim to give you top quality information, which means we test and improve the way we give you information and how we send it to you. After months of planning, we came up with the idea of Newsletters! We hope you use the SafariTimes News round-up monthly to research the latest information and news from us at Safari Sundown and news at West Midland Safari Park (WMSP)!
Fireworks is returning!
After much talk and question, our fans kept asking, 'Will the Fireworks festival be returning again' and we simply said, we don't know. We recently checked the WMSP events page to see that the Fireworks Festival has infact returned to the site, and will be on the 3rd November 2012, which is a Saturday! The logo was revealed along with some details of the event which makes it's appearance later this year. We will be attending the event to get some coverage and possibly some LIVE coverage from the park.
Waving at the Olympics
The Elephants wanted to get involved with the Torch passing the park, and they decided to wave the British flag at the Torch when it passed on the SVR train on it's voyage to Kidderminster. The park made plans to get the elephants trained to hold the flags, and wave them at the train when it passed by the park. After months of training, the park pulled it off and managed to get the elephants to do there job! Children were onboard the train, and said it was a magical experience to see the elephants wave the flags!
Royalists venture into Spring
A Royalist called by at the Spring Grove House earlyier in May to see the fantastic renovated Spring Grove House in it's newest form ever. The park welcomed it's first ever royalist at the park, and gave him a private tour of the house. The house burnt down in 2006/07 during the Christmas period when a party was being held at the house. The newly renovated house is breathtaking, and is fit for weddings, parties and lots more!
